NBA Christmas Day uniforms?
The NBA employs marketing geniuses. Why? Because nearly two months before Christmas, the league has us discussing the uniforms the 10 teams playing December 25 will wear. Yeah, the uniforms. Several of the details about the short-sleeved jerseys have been leaked online and now we have plenty of time to decide what we think.
At some point in every athlete's life is the realization that he or she cannot physically handle the rigors of a game anymore. For 26-year-old Andrew Bynum, that realization may be creeping up on him. Bynum's various knee injuries have been an unfortunate reality of his career, and though he's making a comeback with the Cavaliers, he said on Thursday that he still thinks about retirement and feels like a ''shell of [him]self'' on the court. He can still find a place on a roster, but should he call it a career before he does more damage to his faltering knees?
Still a contributor?
Bynum has showed flashes of effectiveness in limited time this season -- he had 10 points, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks in 19 minutes in a win over the Timberwolves on Monday.Ron Schwane/USA TODAY Sports
Anthony Bennett's slow NBA start
Saying that Cleveland Cavaliers 2013 No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett has started slowly may be the most obvious statement anyone has made so far about the 2013-14 NBA season. Before scoring the first field goal of his career in his fifth game, breaking an 0-for-15 stretch, Bennett's two points on free throws through four games were the fewest for a No. 1 pick since 1966. Is Bennett just going through an adjustment period?

LeBron who? OK, we won't go that far. But things are looking up for the Cleveland Cavaliers, with Kyrie Irving nearing elite status and his supporting cast growing (No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett!) and growing (talented-but-injury-prone center Andrew Bynum!). Can the Cavs take the next step? The NBA 5-on-5 guys had their say and now it's time for SportsNation to weigh in.
