When the clock hit zeroes Saturday in Auburn, Ala., it seemed the Crimson Tide had the best chance to win the Iron Bowl and reach the SEC championship game. Then ... well, we all know what happened. The question is: Where does Chris Davis' field goal return rank among the best college football endings -- meaning, the game's final play -- of all time? Click on the images below to set your list!

College football finishes

CFB: (21) Michigan at (22) Mich. St.

Northwestern has fizzled. Nebraska doesn't look so hot. Which means the Big Ten Legends Division might come down to Saturday, when undefeated (in the conference) Michigan State plays host to Michigan (2-1 league record). The Spartans didn't enter the season with the highest of expectations. Can they virtually seal a trip to Indianapolis already?

(14) Notre Dame at (17) Michigan

Brian Kelly couldn't deny it, not even after initially saying this yearly contest was not "one of those historic, traditional Notre Dame rivalries." Two days after rocking the Upper Midwest with that comment, the Fighting Irish coach said what everyone else was thinking: "It's a great and historical rivalry that we'll be playing this Saturday." Unfortunately -- for some, at least -- it will end after next season, with the Irish opting to play more ACC teams. Who will claim this penultimate meeting?
