Mike Leach's tenure at Texas Tech ended in controversy, but an offensive mind like his was bound to return to the coaching ranks someday. Leach is the new coach at Washington State, signing a five-year deal with a base salary of $2 million. The Cougars are 4-8 and haven't had a winning season in some time, but Leach has a reputation for doing a lot with a little.


How good is Leach?

Mike Leach's eccentricities are well-known -- the pirates, the motivational speeches, the hair -- but his offenses at Texas Tech were among the best in the nation.
