Cavaliers win NBA draft lottery
The Cleveland Cavaliers didn't enter Tuesday's NBA draft lottery with many karma points. Turns out they didn't need them. For the second straight year and third time in four years, Cleveland earned the No. 1 overall pick. It gives the Cavs -- who had a 1.7 percent chance of earning the selection -- the right to choose between Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid and Jabari Parker. It also gives non-Cavs fans the right to wonder what if ... and question whether the NBA needs a change.
The Woden Award Midseason Top 25 list is out. Creighton's Doug McDermott and Oklahoma State's Marcus Smart are among the favorites to win the award. Other top contenders include Duke's Jabari Parker and Arizona's Nick Johnson. Kansas' Joel Embiid was the biggest name left off the list. Below we've listed 15 of the favorites, and now it's time for SportsNation to rank 'em!
