Is Blake Bortles draft's top QB?

Teddy Bridgewater underwhelmed at his pro day. Johnny Manziel and "bust" have been heard together a lot lately. And then there's Blake Bortles, the previously anonymous quarterback who excelled at his own personal showcase and might have cemented his spot as the NFL's top quarterback prospect. But prospect and real thing are quite different. What is the NFL future for all three? If you were the Houston Texans' brass, would you go with a QB at No. 1?

Tough choice for Texans at No. 1?

Much like the last time the Houston Texans had the No. 1 overall pick, it seems this year's selection will be a difficult one. Long it has been considered a choice between the top NFL draft talent (Jadeveon Clowney) and a home-state quarterback (Johnny Manziel), but in his latest mock (Insider) Todd McShay has Houston going with another signal caller: UCF's Blake Bortles (Manziel ended up No. 4 to the Cleveland Browns, one after Teddy Bridgewater to the Jacksonville Jaguars). Is this a good pick for the Texans? How will Manziel, a new Nike athlete, fare in the NFL?

Manziel or Clowney for No. 1 pick?

Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay released mock drafts (both Insider) on Thursday. From the look of things, there is still quite a bit of fluidity on many boards. Kiper says Johnny Manziel will go No. 1 overall to his home-state Houston Texans, and Jadeveon Clowney joining the Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 3. McShay? He sees Clowney heading to Texas and Manziel dropping to the Oakland Raiders at No. 5.

The two experts couldn't agree on the landing spots for the other top three QBs, either: Blake Bortles (fourth to the Cleveland Browns according to McShay, eighth to the Minnesota Vikings per Kiper) and Teddy Bridgewater (McShay says third to Jacksonville, Kiper fourth to Cleveland). In fact, they agree on only one of the top five picks: No. 2, where the St. Louis Rams will (likely) stick with Sam Bradford at quarterback and choose Auburn offensive lineman Greg Robinson. What do you think should happen? What will Houston do at No. 1?
