90 wins for the Mets?
The Mets may have disappointed their fans for two straight seasons (to be very generous), but that's not making GM Sandy Alderson or third baseman David Wright any less confident about this season. Alderson said he thinks this Mets team can win at least 90 games, a sentiment Wright agrees with. The Mets haven't won 90 games since 2006, but who knows? Maybe they won't miss Matt Harvey so much after all.

Baseballs will fly at the Home Run Derby on Monday night (8 p.m. ET, ESPN), as eight of the game's best sluggers will try to deposit the most batting practice pitches over the outfield wall at Citi Field in New York. Mets third baseman David Wright trails the Giants' Pablo Sandoval by more than 200,000 votes in balloting for the National League All-Star starting lineup. But Wright was recently voted "MLB's Hottest Cub" by the readers of dating website Cougarlife.com, which pairs older women with younger men. Can you guess where this was headed?
The Mets acknowledged Thursday that they had scuttled plans to work with Cougarlife.com to promote Wright's candidacy. And Wright, uncomfortable with the extra attention amid the Mets' struggles, said he asked the team to tone down its ballot push. Did the Mets go too far? Does Wright deserve to be an All-Star?
