After weeks of scouting and debating, the Houston Texans decided on the obvious choice at No. 1: Jadeveon Clowney, the South Carolina defensive end considered by most to be the top talent in the 2014 NFL draft. A few minutes later, the Jacksonville Jaguars made a splash at No. 3 by selecting quarterback Blake Bortles ahead of superstar Johnny Manziel.
