Upsets reign at Wimbledon

First it was Rafael Nadal. Then Maria Sharapova. And late Wednesday, Roger Federer became the latest upset victim at Wimbledon, falling to 116th-ranked Sergiy Stakhovsky in the second round. And those aren't the only big names to leave. Second-seeded woman Victoria Azarenka dropped out due to injury, as did men's No. 6 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and No. 18 John Isner. Still, top contenders Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray remain. For now. Who knows what's next in this tournament?

Nadal wins French Open No. 8

Rafael Nadal has turned the French Open into his personal highlight reel. The 27-year-old has won the tournament eight times, more wins than any other player in a single major, and has now won a major in nine straight calendar years. Will he catch, and perhaps even surpass, Roger Federer's 17 major titles? And when a tennis player finds an inordinate amount of success on one surface, as with Nadal, how does that affect his or her legacy?
