Wawrinka wins Australian Open

Serena Williams? Step aside. Big Four? Not this time. This year's Australian Open belonged neither to the women's No. 1 tennis player, nor the quartet of Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal. Instead, Li Na (straight sets over Dominika Cibulkova) captured her second grand slam title and first Aussie, while Stanislas Wawrinka (four sets vs. Nadal) became just the second non-Big Four player to win a major tournament in the last nine years. What does this mean for tennis? How many more grand slams will the winners claim?

The tournament's top seed, Novak Djokovic, would like to avenge last year's five-set loss to 3-seed Andy Murray, while No. 2 seed Rafael Nadal looks to be the last man standing on Arthur Ashe Court for the first time since 2010.
