Yankee Stadium said goodbye to Mariano Rivera in an emotional scene Thursday night. Rivera was pulled from the game by longtime teammates Derek Jeter and Andy Pettitte and received a standing ovation commensurate with his status as the greatest closer ever. Rivera is on top of the career saves list, but can you name the closers he passed on his way there?

Yankees' future at closer?

A good closer can calm the most skittish fan base, and for the past two decades or so, the Yankees have had the best one in the game. They got a glimpse on Monday night of life without Mariano Rivera, however, and while David Robertson pulled off the save, his adventures may have had hearts pounding across the Bronx. The only reason Robertson closed, of course, was that the great Rivera had, in his past three games, appeared to be not only hittable, but even worse, mortal.

If you were a Yankees fan, would you be confident in David Robertson as your team's closer?
