I don't how Wisconsin is ranked #10 in pro football. The Packers have more history and success than any other franchise. Not to mention the whole state loves and supports the team.

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin close to the Minnesota border. This meant we had our share of Packer and Viking fans. Now I go to school in Milwaukee and I have to deal with Chicago natives and their loyalty to the Bears. From these situations I determined one thing, nobody loves their team more than Packer fans.
Entire houses can be found decorated entirely of Packer green and gold. TV's even suffer when some fans are upset at the outcome of a game. Even grown men cried when the Pack won their first Super Bowl in 20 years in 1997.
Every fan wants to be at Lambeau every Sunday. But since a ticket to a game is rare to come by, most fans flock to their local watering hole to catch the game. Now you won't be able to see the Lombardi look-a-like or have a Packer player jump into your arms while watching on TV, but there still is excitement.
I could go into their dozen NFL titles won in previous years, but people want to know about now. I believe this has been a successful year. We were playoff hopeful, something most people didn't expect. This year's team has won with three rookie offensive linemen, unheard of in the NFL.
The Packers are on their way back to the top, with or without Brett Favre. Packer fans love Brett Favre and would love him to keep playing, but we have to think about the future, Aaron Rodgers. The defense looks strong with Aaron Kampman, a young star in A.J. Hawk, and the best corner tandem in the league, Al Harris and Charles Woodson.
Even though the Pack aren't in the playoffs this year, I would put all my eggs into the Packers playoff basket next year. We Packer fans bleed green and gold. Go Pack Go!
