History: Miller Park is the only stadium in North America to feature a convertible, fan-shaped roof, guaranteeing that baseball will be played, even on the most inclement of Wisconsin days. Construction began in October 1996, with the ballpark funded by a sales tax in five counties. The Brewers contributed $90 million to the project, including a 20-year naming rights deal with the Miller Brewing Co. Miller Park is a four-tier seating bowl consisting of the field level, loge level, club level and terrace level. The playing surface is natural grass.

Soak up the scene:
Drive up to Miller Park a couple of hours before opening pitch and you'd think there was a football game going on inside that day. Tailgating is a big part of game day in Milwaukee, with Brewers fans filling the parking lot before every game grilling up bratwurst and sausages and enjoying their favorite beverages. Miller products are highlighted inside the park, but there also is a fine selection of local micro-brews on tap. General:
Guests are permitted to bring cameras and video equipment into Miller Park, provided that they are intended for personal use only. Taping of any game footage is strictly prohibited. Guests are not permitted to stand in the aisles, wells or walkways, or obstruct others from viewing the game while taking photographs. Tripods and monopods for photographic equipment are not permitted. Glass containers, cans and alcohol are not permitted in Miller Park during any Brewers games. Backpacks, large bags and coolers of any size are also prohibited.

Will Call:
Game tickets, ordered in advance, may be picked up at the Brewers Ticket Office Will Call, located behind home plate near the Clock Tower, from the time the gates open through the top of the fifth inning. Tickets will be released with proper identification only.

Directions:
From the east: Take the East-West Freeway (I-94) west to Miller Park Way (formerly US 41 South), take the Miller Park exit and enter the Stadium parking area. From the west: Take the East-West Freeway (I-94) east to Miller Park Way (formerly US 41 South), exit onto Miller Park Way, take the Miller Park exit and enter the stadium parking area OR take Bluemound Road East to Story Parkway and turn south, entering ballpark parking at 46th Street. From the north: Take Miller Park Way (formerly US 41 South) to the Miller Park exit and enter the stadium parking area. From the south: Take the South 43rd Street/Stadium Freeway (US 41) north, take the Miller Park exit and enter the stadium parking area.

Parking:
Parking lots open three hours prior to game time. A limited amount of preferred parking ($12 to $25) is accessible from Miller Park Way. General parking ($8 to $15) is accessible from all gates with the exception of the Mitchell Boulevard exit. Handicap parking ($8 to $15) is accessible from all gates. Miller Park gate opening times: gates will open two hours prior to game start for all marquee games, with the exception of April 12, when gates will open 90 minutes prior to game time; in April, May and September, Miller Park gates will open 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the non-marquee games, seven days a week; and in June, July and August, gates will open 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start of non-marquee games Monday through Friday and two hours prior on Saturdays and Sundays.

Transportation:
By bus: For public transportation, take the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) using Route 90 from Wisconsin Avenue downtown. Also, MCTS trolleys on the Lake Route run along Wisconsin Avenue and start heading to Miller Mark two hours before game time; it's 50 cents a ride and you can pick it up on Wisconsin Avenue. Charter Buses must enter the stadium parking lot from Miller Park Way. Day-of-game cost of bus parking and drop-offs is $30. By motorcycle: Motorcycles should enter at Bluemound Road and Story Parkway (46th Street). By bicycle: Bike racks are located near the Klement's Sausage Haus, east of Miller Park, and at the Ballpark Plaza near the Clock Tower.
