History: The $300 million urban village known as Comerica Park has raised expectations in the city of Detroit. The ballpark includes a carousel, Ferris wheel and an enormous water feature behind center field that can be choreographed to music. A major priority when designing this park was the fans' sightlines. Comerica has no upper-deck outfield seats, offering a gorgeous view of the downtown skyline. The park includes 70,000 square feet of retail space and another 36,000 square feet of offices.

Soak up the scene:
Comerica Park has plenty of off-field entertainment, including a carousel, a Ferris wheel and a fountain that spouts liquid fireworks. And beyond the left-field wall is a series of unique statues of six Tigers greats. The park is located in downtown Detroit, and believe it or not there's plenty to see and do close by. From I-94 (Ford Fwy) westbound: I-94 to Woodward exit, go south (left) on Woodward for about 2 miles, stadium is on the left. From I-75 (Fisher Freeway) northbound (Downriver/Toledo): Exit at Woodward Avenue, stadium is on the right. From I-75 (Fisher Fwy.) southbound: Exit at Woodward Avenue, stadium is on the left. From Windsor (bridge): Exit onto I-75 North (Fisher Fwy.), follow I-75 northbound directions. From Windsor (tunnel): Right on Jefferson Avenue, get into left lane, return westbound onto Jefferson Ave. (U-turn), right on Woodward, stadium is on right.
