History: The Jets have shared a home field with the Giants at Giants Stadium since the Jets moved into the building in 1984 after 20 seasons at Shea Stadium and four years at the Polo Grounds before that. And it appears the Jets and Giants will continue sharing playing space for the foreseeable future, following their historic 50-50 partnership announced in September 2005 to build a new stadium in New Jersey's Meadowlands. The New Meadowlands Stadium, with seating for 82,500 fans, is expected to open its doors for the 2010 season.

Parking: Parking lot toll plazas open five hours prior to kickoff. Detailed parking information is available the Jets team Web site.

Transportation: By train: New in 2009, rail service is available to the Meadowlands. The new train line originates in Hoboken Terminal and stops at Frank R. Lautenberg Station (Secaucus Junction), before continuing to its final destination at the Meadowlands Rail Station, just steps from the stadium. At Secaucus Junction, other passengers can transfer from trains that originated from Penn Station and from other locations throughout the tri-state area. Parking also is available Frank R. By bus: New Jersey Transit will continue to offer No. 351 direct bus service from the Port Authority Bus Terminal for all home games in the 2009-2010 season. This service is a 15-minute ride.
