Indy's Peyton Manning is the highest rated player in this year's Super Bowl with a near-perfect grade of 99.

With the Colts and the Bears set to battle it out in Super Bowl XLI, the creators of Madden NFL 07 have been hard at work. They have examined and evaluated the individual performances of both teams throughout the regular season and playoffs in order to produce an updated, Super Bowl edition of the video game's popular player ratings.

Once the numbers had been crunched, Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning emerged as the highest rated player in this year's Super Bowl, coming in with a near-perfect grade of 99 (out of a possible 100). Middle linebacker Brin Urlacher and center Olin Kreutz were the highest rated players on the Chicago side, each with a mark of 98.

Both the Colts and the Bears have nine players with ratings of 90 or above.
