EA shutting down sports title servers

Still playing that copy of "Madden NFL 09" or "NBA Street" online? Your days are numbered.

EA announced that on February 2, they are shutting down the servers of 21 older sports titles, stripping the online experience from games like "Facebreaker" and "NFL Tour."

According to EA.com, "You may continue to play the games online up until these dates, but certain community programs may begin to close down prior to the shutdown dates."

Here is the full list of games going dark:

  • "UEFA Champions League 07" (PC and 360)

  • "Facebreaker" (360 and PS3)

  • "Fantasy Football 09" (360 and PS3)

  • "FIFA 07" (PSP, PS2, PC)

  • "Fight Night Round 3" (PS2)

  • "Madden 07" (360)

  • "Madden 08" (Wii, PC)

  • "Madden 09" (Xbox 1, 360, PS3, Wii, PSP)

  • "March Madness 07" (360)

  • "NBA 07" (PSP, 360)

  • "NBA Live 08" (PS2, PSP, Wii)

  • "NBA Live 09" (Wii - Europe only)

  • "NBA Street" (PS3 and 360)

  • "NCAA Football 08" (PS2)

  • "NCAA Football 09" (PS2)

  • "NASCAR 08" (PS2)

  • "NASCAR 09" (PS2 in the U.S., PS3 and 360 in Europe)

  • "NFL Tour" (PS3 and 360)

  • "NHL 07" (PSP and 360)

  • "NHL 08" (PC)
