Broncos' Royal makes impressive debut
Rookie of the Week? If it's a game involving the Raiders you might instantly think Darren McFadden. Think again. It's Eddie Royal of the Broncos who not only caught the first touchdown pass of his NFL career, he also returned a kickoff 97-yards to help his Broncos beat the rival Raiders 26-19.
JaMarcus Russell completed only 11/33 passes in the Raider loss as Denver controlled the ball throughout the game lead by a solid running attack and the accurate passing of Jay Cutler.
McFadden's debut? 8 rushes for 31 yards. Solid, but he was no Eddie Royal.
