Rams fall to Pats despite fourth-quarter lead

Updated: October 23, 2008 5:22:28 PM PDT

Can the St. Louis Rams continue to pull off enough huge upsets to actually climb their way back into the NFC West race? They played tough on the road against the Patriots, holding a lead into the fourth quarter, but the Pats strike for 10 unanswered to win the game 23-17.

Despite throwing four interceptions, Matt Cassel played the role of comeback kid, leading the Pats on two scoring drives in the fourth to put his team ahead. Ben Watson caught four of Cassel's strikes, all of them in the second half, including a fourth quarter touchdown that gave the Pats the lead.

Randy Moss added five catches for 64 yards and one touchdown in the win.
