Angela Taylor leaves Mystics post
WASHINGTON -- Angela Taylor is leaving after two seasons as general manager of the Washington Mystics.
The Mystics went a franchise-best 22-12 in the 2010 regular season to finish with the top record in the Eastern Conference and earn a No. 1 seeding for the playoffs.
"Angela Taylor's contract has expired and we were not able to reach an agreement on a new deal to retain her as general manager," Mystics owner Sheila Johnson said in a statement released by the team Saturday.
