Swin Cash, Ruth Riley, Nikki Teasley and Cheryl Ford will compete for the final three spots on the U.S. Women's Senior National Team that will play in the Olympics on Aug. 13-29.

The final three roster positions will be announced after the team hold three final training camps -- Feb. 19-27, March 18-28, April 4-13 -- prior to the Athens Games.

Nine players already have been named to the team, including Sue Bird, Tamika Catchings, Shannon Johnson, Lisa Leslie, DeLisha Milton-Jones, Katie Smith, Dawn Staley, Sheryl Swoopes and Tina Thompson.

"We've got three spots to fill on this team," USA head coach Van Chancellor said. "We need someone who can help us at the perimeter, and we're looking for an outside shooter, someone who can play the 3-4 spot.

"And then we'll probably add the best athletes we can find."

The Senior National Team will open its training on Feb. 19 in Jacksonsville, Fla. The team will train there for four days before leaving for Cuba for a three-game exhibition series. The U.S. will play Cuba, the gold medalist in the 2003 Pan American Games,

After a 2½-week break, the team will reconvene in Europe to compete against top clubs and national teams March 18-28. The team will then regroup during the Women's Final Four on April 2-4 in New Orleans, La.

Following an April training camp, the USA team will break for the WNBA season before reconvening Aug. 3 for final Olympic preparation.
