Lynx bring back Duffy, a 2006 draft pick
MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Lynx brought back a former draft pick Tuesday, signing free-agent guard Megan Duffy.
Duffy was drafted by Minnesota in 2006 and appeared in 31 games with the Lynx last season. She was released during training camp April 26 and signed with the Los Angeles Sparks.
Duffy recorded 12 points, five assists and five rebounds in three preseason games with the Sparks before she was cut May 18.
Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Duffy brings Minnesota's roster back to 11 players after Kathrin Ress returned to Italy to join the Italian National Team, which is preparing for the European Championships.
