Lovelace signs with Shock, returns to native Detroit
DETROIT -- Stacey Lovelace will return to her native Detroit to play for the Shock.
The forward-center, who played at St. Martin De Porres High, was waived earlier this week by Atlanta.
Lovelace played in 15 games this season for the Dream, making seven starts and averaging 6.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals.
Lovelace is in her seventh season in the WNBA. She previously played in Washington, Chicago, Seattle and Minnesota.
